Petrol lighter instruction manual

Due to the transport regulations of the Deutsche Post, the petrol lighters we deliver are not filled for safety reasons when they are delivered. You can get lighter fluid in discount stores, tobacconists or kiosks - almost everywhere cigarettes are sold.

There is not much to consider when filling. However, if you are doing this for the 1st time, please take a look at the instructions first so that you do not accidentally reassemble parts incorrectly and possibly bend something.

The basic rule is to reinsert the inner part exactly as you pulled it out. Particular attention should be paid to the position of the marked nose. This must be folded out to the left, not set up upwards. Otherwise the lid cannot be closed.

Never close the lid with strong pressure. If it doesn't close properly, it's better to check the position of the nose again first (see illustration).

Do not remove the screw (2) to fill. This is only required when replacing the flint.
